Have you ever thought of a luxury boating holiday in the Dutch province of Limburg? The river Maas and the Zuid-Willemsvaart offer a wide variety of nature, culture, cities and beautiful areas to sail with your motor yacht and enjoy the Burgundian life. On and in many of the lakes there are smaller and larger harbours where you can moor if you can't or don't want to anchor. There are too many to mention, so this is by no means complete.

The Meuse
The river Meuse, which has its origin in France, on the Plateau of Langres enters the Netherlands from Belgium at Maastricht, or better still a little further south at Eijsden. From here, the river Meuse forms the border between the Netherlands and Belgium. As soon as we enter the Netherlands from the south via the large locks at Ternaaien, the first of the many lakes in the Meuse in Limburg is on our right. The Limburg landscape around the Meuse consists of dozens of excavated gravel holes. Many different tourist companies have developed around this, which makes it an excellent place to stay on these waters.
